Payment Methods
I do accept medical aid payments and my fees are in line with the respective medical aid rates.
I also accept payment by credit card, debit card, cash or EFT, before or at the time of service, first appointment is payable by commencement of the session.
Rates
The following are the rates for the various therapy and assessment services.
Therapeutic Services
R950 for 60 minutes of play-therapy or individual therapy. The therapeutic hour consists of fifty-one (50) minutes therapy time and ten (10) minutes for administrative purposes, and the rate also applies for parental intake sessions, where applicable.
Career Services
R2850 for the adult narrative career counselling process. This includes the narrative career counselling session and an interest/personality style assessment which normally takes about 2 hours. This price also includes an hour feedback session after 7 days.
R3800 for the subject choice and grade 11/12/post-matric career counselling process that includes an aptitude test, career interest questionnaire, personality profile, and career values assessment. The assessment session will commence with an intake interview and the complete session will have a duration of approximately 5 hours, followed by a feedback session and written report with 7 days.
R250-350 for the group subject choice assessment, conducted at the guest school including an advocacy session with the learners and parents, assessment session (5 hours), and a group feedback session with a concise report for each learner after 14 days.
School Readiness assessment
R3900, including intake and feedback interview with parents, assessment session, and written report.
Educational Psychological Assessments / Concession & Accommodation Assessments
R4980 which includes the 5-hour assessment process, the intake interview as well as the feedback session (1 hour), as well as a feedback session and written report within a 14-day turnaround time.

After Hours Sessions
Some clients request sessions outside of my regular therapy hours (after hours or on a weekend). I am occasionally able to accommodate a limited number of these requests.
Fee Reduction
While I offer some lower fee slots for those experiencing hardship or with reduced incomes, I prefer to hold these slots for current clients who are experiencing life transitions during our work together. If my fee is a concern, please discuss it with me. If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I will provide you with referrals.
Lateness and Cancellations
Missed and cancelled sessions pose some issues for both of us. It is extremely difficult for me to fill your last-minute cancelled session on a short notice. Therefore, I charge for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice unless we can find another time that week that works for us both.
